Timeline

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill introduced Carolina Next, an updated strategic plan, in January of 2020. Shortly thereafter, the global COVID-19 pandemic paused this effort and the University focused on the well-being of our Carolina community. Just before the start of the 2022-23 academic year, Chancellor Guskiewicz identified three (3) priority areas that encompass each of the Carolina Next initiatives. Here’s a snapshot of what the Carolina community has accomplished in these priority areas.
